ELIPS is the leading partner for the pre-insulated pipe industry.

ELIPS is A joint venture between Emirates Central Cooling Corporation (Empower), the largest district cooling service provider in the region, and A Danish based Logstor, a leading provider of pre-insulated pipes and innovative thermal solutions.

The manufacturing facility is located in Jabel Ali Industrial Area No. 1, Dubai & spread over 92,817m². The manufacturing plant is state of art with foaming machines operated by Robots which insulate & jacket Pipe ranging from 50 mm up to 2000 mm. The pre-insulated pipes manufactured at ELIPS are used in energy-efficient transportation of liquid for district cooling & heating, oil & gas, solar, marine and industrial projects.

ELIPS has been granted the National Industrial License which accords it the same status as a local or GCC company in the UAE. Apart from this its enjoys the following additional benefits:

Duty exemption on imports of raw material, machinery or spare parts used in manufacturing activities of the Company; and
Duty exemption on exports within the GCC countries

Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation PJSC (Empower) is the world’s largest district cooling services provider that develops, owns and operates world-class district cooling schemes in Dubai. Empower was established by Ruler’s Decree in 2003 as a joint venture and became a listed Public Joint Stock Company in 2022.

From the modest beginning of its operations in 2004 with a single temporary plant serving DIFC (the financial district of Dubai), Empower has grown exponentially over the two decades, with an impressive portfolio of major projects in place serving more than 110,000 corporate and individual customers in more than 1,460 buildings. Empower has a connected capacity of approximately 1.4 million refrigeration tons and a contracted capacity of approximately 1.5 million refrigeration tons by the end of 2022.
